By the end of 2023, the number of flights at the national airport Schiphol will shrink. The air cargo sector expects to be hit disproportionately hard as a result. It therefore pleads once again for the creation of a cargo pool. If this cannot be achieved in consultation, it will take the matter to court if necessary. Time is pressing.

In June, Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management Mark Harbers indicated that the number of flights per year would be reduced to 440,000 from the end of 2023, constituting a 12% contraction.
