World Floral Expo 2018 well attended

This year’s edition of World Floral Expo held in the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center of Rosemont near Chicago in Illinois last week, ended with excellent results for exhibitors. The event was well attended, especially on the first two days when many flower importers, distributors, wholesalers and retailers from Illinois visited the floral trade show.

Flower buyers also flew in from various other states, such as New York, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Kansas, Arkansas, Delaware, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Virginia, Washington, Tennessee and some other US states. Almost 30 states in total attended World Floral Expo this time in Chicago.

“Four years ago, when World Floral Expo was held for the first time in Chicago, the show was very well attended also. It is was the reason to return this year for another edition and it is great to conclude that it was indeed a good move to come back”, the show organizer HPP Exhibitions commented.

The flower displays of exhibiting growers from California, Colombia, Ecuador and Kenya created a very diverse and attractive exhibition for all those who attended to source flowers. “Being able to meet the grower and see its product at a show without having to travel to the country where the flowers are grown, is a time and money safer and a good alternative, especially when these countries are well represented at the show”, concluded the spokesman of the show.
