‘We’ve really started of a revolution in China’

After almost 15 year in business, our company has been sold. It was bought by Lynch Group and is now listed at the Sydney Stock Exchange.

It’s been 15 years of very hard work by everyone involved. These things don’t happen by themselves. We started small, and thanks to lots of hard work, perseverance and turning setbacks into successes, we’ve become what we are today. A listed company. As part of Lynch Group, we can grow even further. As a group, we’ll be in a better position to take advantage of certain opportunities. This development really feels like our crowning achievement.

During the past 15 years, I’ve experienced literally everything here in China: frustration, satisfaction, great things and of course, also some things that weren’t so great. It certainly wasn’t all plain sailing. But all in all, it’s been a great adventure.

I really appreciate I got the opportunity to be part of it, and what’s more, the story continues! We’re going to continue what we started. We may have changed ownership, but that doesn’t take away from our mission. Which continues to be: developing a brand that will revolutionize the Chinese flower market. Showering our customers with beauty and joy.

I think we’ve certainly started off a revolution. There’s a huge number of flower nurseries in China, including rose farms. But so far, no one has managed to do what we’ve done. We redefined the term ‘quality’. We’ve produced a constant, stable supply throughout the year, launched our own brands, etc. The flower industry can’t ignore us. Our flowers are literally all around. We’ve become a household name.

Of course, we’ve been copied many times. Or at least, there have been many attempts to copy us. But it’s not easy to do. You need the right combination of hardware, software and especially, skills, to build an unbeatable machine. Knowledge, experience, adjusting to the local situation and an unbelievable amount of determination. That’s what got us to where we are now. At the top!
