North Creek Nurseries was named Operation of the Year at Greenhouse Grower’s Evening of Excellence, held July 11 at Cultivate’16 in Columbus, OH. The company was also recognized for Excellence In Sustainable Production, based on its mission to propagate the finest quality plants that enhance the relationship between people and sustainable outdoor environments.
’This award is about 28 years of dedicated work by all of us,’ said Steve Castorani, owner of North Creek. ’We try to weather every hardship together, so this award is dedicated to them.’
Based in Landenberg, PA, North Creek specializes in growing perennials, ornamental grasses, ferns, vines, and shrubs, with an emphasis on native plant offerings geared toward the Eastern U.S. In addition to selling to wholesale growers and landscape contractors, North Creek supplies landscape architects, engineers, municipalities, nature centers, and ecologically driven design firms with landscape-worthy native plants.
