Proflora 2017 will take place from4 to 6 October in Bogota. The Colombian bi-annual international flower trade show is organized by Asocolflores, the Association of Colombian Flower Exporters.
Over the last 25 years Proflora has established itself as the most important trade promotion mechanism for Colombian flowers internationally and it is currently the largest cut-flower fair in the Americas. More than 300 exhibitors, from 13 countries, will be exhibiting the fines quality cut flowers, the newest varieties and the most advanced technology and services for the whole flower industry.
Held every two years Bogota, Colombia’s capital, will host the fourteen version of the show and a greater exhibition area will be available. Will receive more than 7.000 visitors form over 60 countries.
Beyond the commercial and foreign benefits it generates for the Colombian economy – US$ 1,3 billion in annual exports, to near 90 countries – the flower industry makes a significant contribution to Colombia’s social development and environmental sustainability.
