The green industry of Italy is recovering from problems due to corona. This is shown in a survey with figures organized by Flormart.
Instead of the physical trade show, in December Flormart will organize the online-event Flormart City Forum. Prior to this a survey is held last June and September, amongst 167 Italian nurserymen, landscapers and architects about trends in their industry. 85% them had substantial or moderate problems caused by corona consequences, in terms of less work and turnover.
The results of the survey are published in the Flormart Green City Report. 30% of the companies said their performance is increasing slightly or strongly, compared to 18% in June. For 72% of the companies, future expectations are stable or positive, compared to 52% in June.
The Italian industry is expecting more urban green spaces, in terms of communal use of gardens, parks and extensive green roofs.
