During talks earlier this week in Tehran between HPP and KhazarEurasia, the organizers of IGTF, and the Iranian Agricultural organization A&NRE, it was agreed to organize an international conference on the importance of the use of greenhouses for the horticulture industry in Iran.
This one day conference will take place on Saturday April 22 during the second edition of IGTF (Iran Green Trade Fair), which will be held at the Tehran International Exhibition Center from Friday April 21 to Sunday April 23.
Over 500 participants from all over Iran are expected to attend this convention, a.o. investors, business leaders, growers, horticultural engineers, governmental organizations, as well as various other business peers of the Iran horticulture industry.
They will be present to learn more about the commercial benefits of the production of vegetables, fruits, flowers and plants in greenhouses. Fresh produce and other fresh (floral) products that are needed to supply the almost 80 million inhabitants of Iran, but also to export to neighboring countries.
Presentations and talks will include all aspects of growing crops in these climate conditioned environments, from greenhouse construction & cultivation technologies to social & economic benefits of in greenhouse produced crops.
