Gediflora was awarded International Grower of the Year by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) last year. Sales manager Vincent Verbaeys was surprised to see how much media attention this generated. We’ve received so many phone calls from journalists. Not just from the trade press, but from national media too.
Verbaeys feels it’s thanks to the brand awareness resulting from all this publicity, that the national media knew where to find the company again around All Saints’ Day. “We don’t normally get this much publicity. I’m convinced it’s thanks to the award we received earlier that year.”
