From 26 up to and including 29 September for the 21th time FleurAmour took place at the castle of Alden Biesen in Bilzen, Belgium. Many floral artists from different European countries showed their talents. Earth, air, water and fire was the theme this year. Hortipoint who was one of the more than 15.000 vistors made a photo report.
In the castle garden many students and artists made ‘pieces of art’ with flowers.
This one showed some fire in it with kniphofia, gerbera, physalis, amaranthus.
Belgian floral artist Stijn Simaeys was remembered with huge pictures and white orchids.
The church was decorated with a huge cross of roses.
On Friday a lot of visitors wore a flower decorated hat.
Amaryllis decorated the canal close to the castle Alden Biesen.
The Belgian radio station Radio 2 was life in the air from FleurAmour at Friday.
