“Eurovision Song Contest Winner of 2016, Jamala, present at the exhibition Flower Expo Ukraine 2017 to baptize new “Jamala” Tulip from StoKolex”
The organisers of Flower Expo Ukraine are very pleased to announce that Jamala, the Ukrainian winner of the 2016 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with her song ”1944”, will be present at Flower Expo Ukraine 2017 to baptize the new “Jamala” Tulip introduced by StoKolex.
The company StoKolex from The Netherlands, a company that specializes in the growing and export of flower bulbs for the forcing of tulips to Eastern Europe, offered Jamala to name a new Tulip variety after her. Jamala was very honoured and enthusiastic about this idea and above all very proud that this new Tulip variety will carry her name.
After the opening of Flower Expo Ukraine, on Tuesday March 21st, a special ceremony will be organised in which Jamala will officially bе presented her new “Jamala” Tulip.
The organisers are very pleased with this great initiative of StoKolex and are proud to welcome Jamala to the exhibition. Especially the fact that the Eurovision Song Contest will take place in some 1,5 months after Flower Expo Ukraine, in the same venue, creates a unique momentum.
Flower Expo Ukraine 2017 will be held from 21-23 March in the International Exhibition Centre (IEC) in Kiev.
