Dutch Flower Group introduces E-Flora to bring all E-fullfilment activities together

For several years now, a number of Dutch Flower Group (DFG) businesses have organised all E- fulfilment activities for their clients who sell bouquets and plants online. This has seen them taking complete care of the online floral category on behalf of clients who offer delivery of bouquets, plants and often supplemental gift items to consumers in various European countries.

In recent years, this has been achieved through DFG working closely with BloomPost (which includes brands such as Brievenbusbloemen.nl). It has now been decided to bring all E-fulfilment activities together within a new organisation, e-Flora, from 1st October 2017.

The new organisation is managed by Dave van Stijn, Director, and supported by Paul Egeter (UK), Rob Ammerlaan (NL) and manager operations Bjorn Duis.

Dave van Stijn says: “the combination of Dutch Flower Group’s power together with BloomPost’s creativity and e-commerce know-how results in a unique proposition. We are seeing explosive growth in both the gift category and home delivery for personal use. Via e-Flora we will enable our partners to optimise their opportunities through a fully serviced model; from offering a distinctive collection right through to home delivery.”

Dutch Flower Group (DFG) is a global family of specialised trading businesses. Together, they lead the way in import, export, trading and market development of cut flowers, bouquets, plants and decorative foliage. In 2016, Dutch Flower Group had 2,330 employees and turned over approx. € 1.4 billion worldwide in 60 countries.
