The Royal Boskoop Horticultural Society has voted Clematis Little Lemons as best novelty of 2019 in the Netherlands.
Members of the Dutch society (KVBC) could vote for 9 nominated new hardy nursery stock novelties. Last year they all won a golden medal during trade show trials or field trials from the KVBC.
Clematis ‘Zo14100’ (Little Lemons) won the top award. This variety from Boskoop Clematis nursery J. van Zoest is a breakthrough in Clematis breeding, says the KVBC. Because Little Lemons is non-climbing, it grows very compact and it blooms abundantly.
Last year Little Lemons was voted best new variety of Plantarium 2019, the international trade show for hardy nursery stock in Boskoop.
